Please note that we do not administer anesthesia to patients. However, we do offer oral sedation as an alternative. This medication helps to relax you and often results in the erasure of procedure memories. We will prescribe the sedation pill(s) for you, and you can pick them up at your preferred pharmacy. It is important to remember that you must have a designated driver to transport you after taking the sedation pill(s). It is strictly prohibited to drive or operate machinery following the medication.

The ability to remove the palate in a snap-in denture depends on the situation. To achieve this, it is best to evenly distribute dental implants. Our All-On-4 procedure guarantees the option to remove the palate, although it may not always be possible with snap-in dentures.

Removing the palate can bring several benefits for patients. It can enhance their sense of taste and increase sensitivity to temperature, resulting in a more realistic experience. Additionally, individuals with a sensitive gag reflex can find relief by removing the palate.

Please be advised that any notable bleeding should have subsided before your departure from the clinic. Nonetheless, it's common to encounter mild bleeding (oozing) for 1-3 days subsequent to the procedure. Furthermore, upon the initial insertion of your denture(s), you might observe an increase in salivation. This may result in the saliva mixing with a small amount of blood, creating the illusion of more bleeding than actually exists. Should persistent heavy bleeding occur, kindly reach out to our office.

In the event that you're seeking a home remedy to encourage clotting and cease bleeding, utilizing tea bags can prove to be quite efficacious. It's a straightforward process: take a regular tea bag, dampen it, squeeze out any excess water, and place it on the extraction site(s). The tea bags play a role in promoting clotting. Should the need arise, multiple tea bags can be employed. Please remember to replace the tea bags if they become soaked with blood. This procedure can be repeated as many times as necessary.

We do not offer zirconia implants as they are new and their long-term success is unknown. We prioritize the most successful and predictable results for our patients, which is why we currently do not provide this type of implant.

Snaps: Replace snap rings in implant dentures periodically, as they wear and lose retention over time and with denture removal. Replacements are swift and cost-effective.
Cleanings: Implants need regular cleaning, similar to natural teeth. Buildup is removed, and dentures are thoroughly cleaned.
Periodic Re-fittings: Changes in your mouth over time necessitate denture re-fittings, ensuring optimal performance and preventing undue stress on implants.
Home Maintenance: Spend a few minutes daily. Remove dentures 1-2 times daily, brush using a denture or soft toothbrush, and clean implants with a soft dental brush.
