What Are Snap-In Implant Dentures?

Snap-In Implant Dentures are custom-made dentures that securely attach to the dental implants placed by your dentist. This innovative solution offers numerous advantages, including:

Enhance your dining experience | By getting dental implants to secure your denture, you can enjoy your favorite meals with increased stability and confidence.

Non-removable dentures stay securely fixed in the mouth, unlike removable dentures.

Be confident in your smile and laughter, knowing that your dentures are securely in place.

Enhance your comfort with dentures that have reduced movement, minimal rubbing, and chafing.

Improve your nutrition by chewing your food more effectively.

Designed for patients with inadequate bone for implants, this product meets the minimal bone requirement.

Prevent bone loss | Dental implants promote continuous bone production in the jaw, even after tooth extraction, helping to prevent bone loss.

Reduce or eliminate gagging | Sometimes, a portion of the palate can be removed, exposing the roof of the mouth. This procedure helps to reduce or completely eliminate the uncomfortable feeling of gagging caused by your denture.

Dental implants provide enhanced comfort by minimizing or eliminating the discomfort caused by denture movement.

Improve taste | Some patients with implants may have the option to partially remove the palate of their upper denture, which can enhance their ability to taste food.

Snap-In Implant Dentures vs. Traditional Dentures

Chewing ability is diminished | The lower denture's mobility limits chewing strength, usually only reaching 10-20% of natural teeth. The constant movements of the tongue and cheeks disrupt the stability of the lower denture.

Speaking can be challenging because of the lower denture's movement.

Traditional dentures often cause discomfort and gum irritation due to their tendency to shift, especially the lower ones.

Speaking can be difficult due to the movement of the lower denture.

Once again, patients may struggle to consume a well-rounded diet and properly digest food due to the loss of chewing ability caused by poor nutrition.

Bone loss is a common occurrence after tooth extraction and it continues to happen over a person's lifetime. As a result, wearing traditional dentures becomes more difficult as time passes.

Gagging is a common issue for many individuals caused by the traditional upper denture that covers the roof of their mouth. This denture offers suction and stability, but trimming it to alleviate gagging can lead to reduced stability and the loss of natural suction.

Snap-In Implant Dentures are highly effective in significantly improving all of these issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

A minimum of 4 implants is required for an upper implant denture, whereas a lower implant denture requires at least 2 implants. Generally, the more implants you have, the more stable your denture will be. This is especially important for the lower denture, as having three or four implants is typically better than just 2.
We do not offer zirconia implants as they are new and their long-term success is unknown. We prioritize the most successful and predictable results for our patients, which is why we currently do not provide this type of implant.
